All treatments start with a light snack and drink of your choice. The massage utilizes a base of organic coconut, sesame, ghee, and sunflower oils. Healing oils based on your body type are added to the base oils for a luxurious treatment conducted in healing silence.
Abhyanga Treatment An Abhyanga massage begins with a questionnaire to determind your unique body type. The massage involves the liberal use of organic based oils such as sesame, almond or coconut. These oils are combined with special medicine essential oils to balance your body's energy type or dosha. Using smooth, gentle movements as well as tapping, kneading and sweeping strokes, the massage is performed from the naval outwards to move the body's energy from the center.
Ayurvedic Face Rejuvenation Indian Ayurvedic spa treatments are beauty and body care services that have been practiced for thousands of years. This deeply therapeutic skin care treatment uses herbal exfoliates and masks. This treatment includes the 37 marma points on the head, neck and chest.
PediKarma Your Pedi Karma experience begins with a balancing aroma-therapeutic foot soak using Himalayan salts and organic essential oils. Then, while confortably resting you will recieve a rejuvenating marma point and reflexology foot massage using a customized organic essential oil blend followed by a foot massage with a three metal bowl from India. Finally, your feet are dusted with a scented herbal powder and wrapped in warm towels.
Shirodhara Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda medicine that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead. The name come from the Sanskrit words "Shiras" (Head) and "Dhara" (flow). Shirodhara has been used to treat a variety of conditions including eye disease, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, graying of hair, neurological disorders, memory loss, insomnia, hearing impairment, tinnitus, vertigo, Meniere's Disease and certain type of skin diseases like Psoriasis. It is also used nonmedicinally at spas for its relaxing properties.
